Latin American Work in Progress
SANFIC Industry began in the year 2012, and throughout its six editions it has become an important platform for the local and international audiovisual industry. Year after year, this space brings together producers, distributors, sales agents, representatives for international funds, screenwriters, and directors; among other participants in the worlds of art and the audiovisual industry, encouraging and strengthening the internationalization of local productions as well as incentivizing new creators within the region.
This space is made trough important international strategic alliances such as those with the Tribeca Film Institute, Sundance Film Festival, Guadalajara International Film Festival’s Industry Space, Cali International Film Festival’s Producers’ Hall, Chemistry Cine, Blood Window, the Argentine Embassy in Chile, LatamCinema, and Variety, among others. Locally, we must stress the alliances with the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Relations’ Direction of Cultural Affairs (DIRAC), the Chilean Film Commission (FCCh) and Finis Terrae University, as well as have been co-financed by the Program for the Support of International Encounters in Chile, part of the Audiovisual Promotion Fund, edition 2018.
