“Ensayo” is a documentary of experimental processing, that trough the monitoring of the investigation, and the theatrical anthropology, enters into six public places that were intervened. These actions achieved to strain the relations between actor and spectator, allowing us to see again, some of our places of everyday traffic. In this“Theatrical action lab” 15 youngsters from Valparaiso participated, whose average age range is between 14 and 25.
“Ensayo” introduces us into an oneiric experience and with a distant
processing involves us in a journey that goes beyond its registered
objective.

WELCOME TO NEW YORK

Director: Bettina Perut, Ivan
Osnovikoff
Producer: Bettina Perut
Cinematography: Pablo Valdés
Edition: Bettina Perut,

Welcome to New York is a set of impressions, an exercise of inverted
ethnography in which the directors show their contradictory encounter
with the “World’s Capital”. Tragedy and comedy are intertwined with strong contrasts, while the camera travels along the city, penetrating social conditions, pet hotels, ethnic groups, fashion castings, political conflicts, pet cemeteries, photographic sessions, religious communities and raves. But “Welcome to New York” is essentially a reflection on the contemporary human being, his inevitable animal nature and tragic fate.

VIAJE A NARRAGONIA
Documental, Chile/España, 2004, 83’, Video

Director: Germán Berger
Producer: Lluís Serra
Script: Germán Berger
Cinematography: José González, Paco Toledo, Oriol Bosch
Edition: Marc Capdevilla,
Andrea Chignoli
Music: Ricardo Santander

The movie is presented as a boat trip to nowhere: “Narragonia”. “Das
Narrenschiff (“The Ship of the Lunatics” - 1494) is a novel published
at the end of the middle Ages that describes a mythical fact. Hundreds
of men and women were expelled of the cities and condemned to sail eternally to the drift. The objective of the documentary is to seek that utopian destiny, that land of tolerance and liberty, perhaps the trip itself. The difference is that the search is carried out in the 21st century, with a real embarkation of musicians and actors that is revealed against the absolute power of money and against the invisible
chains of the market.

universality of the poetry of the prizewinner poet: Gonzalo Rojas. In a pleasant conversation with biographer Volodia Teitelboim, a travel
through his poetry is done through dramatics representations of 25 of his poems, carried out by actors of diverse nationalities and languages, seeking to represent the geography that accompanies the
life of the poet. Diverse capitals, cities and towns of the world are the locations of this documentary. A work marked by the love and poetry in the life of these two big personages who have in common a long friendship and the love toward a same woman.
