Basilio is a kindhearted person, dominated by his wife, humiliated by his colleagues, despised by the man who takes his dog for a walk.
In the middle of his suicide Irene appears, she is a professional party
woman, who takes Basilio out and places him under the service of
Mendez, a very particular person with a curious job position. Along the way Basilio runs into Vera, a 12 year old girl who asks him for help in a life or death situation.

A story about the kidnap of a young couple from the upper class of Caracas. But when Carla and her boyfriend are kidnapped by three bullies, nothing goes as it was planned in this dangerous game, in which every second is vital for their victims.

Three decades ago, a young Arturo Ripstein interviewed political detainees at the preventive jail in Mexico City, which was about to be
closed. The documentary Lecumberri, el palacio negro (Lecumberri, the Black Palace, 1976) was born out of that material. Today, those young guerrilla men have become veterans of politics and the director of “Deep Crimson” revisits them to make a skeptic point. With only the interview punctuated with archive images, Heroes and Time lays bare the conflicts of a generation that once idealized revolutionary socialism and today is pushing on sixty, both north and south of the Latin American Equator.

“Dependencia Sexual” tells five parallel stories, united by an underwear
billboard. One tells the life of a 15 years old poor girl in the process of becoming a woman. Another concentrates on the ups and downs of a Colombian teenager who visits Bolivia.The third one tells the story of a teenager from the upper class from Santa Cruz who leaves her city to study in New York. The fourth one is about a young afro-American who deals with racism and violence in her University. Meanwhile the fifth story shows us a football player who lives the lie of the perfect man. The five stories reflect the conflicts that today’s young people have to cope with.

In the XVI century hundreds of Spanish Jews arrived to Mexico trying
to escape from the Spanish Inquisition. In 1984, several families from
Veracruz began to investigate on their origins and they discovered to be descendants of those families. Thus, it gave start to the fascinating
adventure of Beth Shmuel’s community a congregation of converted Jews that since twenty years ago and helped by the rabbi Samuel Lerer, has kept a fight with their poly-religious environment and with the Jewish community of Mexico, for their acceptance. This tape counts the history of 8 of these families.

Saxophonist Amaro experiences in Santigo de Chile an spectral world, chased by his own ghosts and working as a slave in a jewelry store. He meets Katerin, a woman who is blackmailed by her own infidelities, married to a sterile and powerful politician and whose marriage needs a child. Amaro and Katerin become lovers. She gets pregnant and Amaro get fired from his job and has to accept a anoother one which a mafia guy offers him in Buenos Aires.
